Expressing his views in 92 News’ Programme ‘Rehmat Ramazan Transmission’ on Tuesday, he said that the Saudi government had handed over the ration of 20,000 families to him. “We pay special attention to social distancing during our meetings. We have to change our habit of handshaking and hugging for several months,” he said.
The governor said that unluckily coronavirus-affected people are increasing rapidly. “The Punjab government will extend all-out help to the weak community,” he said. He said that there are a large number of middle class people who do not ask anyone for help. “The government is reaching out these people through the NADRA. The middle class people can get the help after getting themselves registered,” he said.
He said that the people’s movement had increased and the people are going to the rush areas. “People think that they have defeated coronavirus. We will have to face difficulties if precautionary measures were not adopted,” he said. He said that the ration would be distributed among 500,000 families with the help of philanthropists. “The poor people will come on roads if they were not provided the relief,” he said.
