Islamabad authorities to de-seal three areas after decrease in COVID-19 cases

ISLAMABAD – The authorities in federal capital Islamabad on Wednesday have decided to lift lockdown in three areas after significant decrease in coronavirus cases.

On the other hand, Pakistan has confirmed 83 deaths in a single day by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 237,489. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 4,922. Sindh remains the worst-hit province by the pandemic in terms of cases followed by Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad.
