LAHORE - Paying rich tribute to the ‘Poet of the East Allama Muhammad Iqbal on his 143rd birth anniversary, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar laid a wreath on the grave of Allama Iqbal at Hazoori Bagh and offered Fateha.
The 143rd birth anniversary of Poet of the East Dr Allama Muhammad Iqbal is being observed across the country with national fervour on Monday.Various literary, educational, political, social and cultural organizations will arrange special programs to pay homage to the national poet and highlight different aspects of his life and teachings.
A smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Navy assumed the responsibility of guard from Pakistan Rangers.visited the shrine of Dr Allama Muhammad Iqbal and laid a floral ‘chadar’ on his grave. They also wrote their impressions in the guests’ book.
