Reportedly, the director air transport issued notices to Pakistan International Airline , Serene Air, Airblue and AirSial. issued notices to the airlines regarding sudden cancellation of domestic flights after it received a large number of complaints by the passengers.
According to the aviation authority, from Oct 1 to Oct 18, as many as 1,145 flights were cancelled. The national flag carrier cancelled 130 scheduled flights out of a total of 417 flights.The authorities informed that theAccording to the new , the airlines operators will be required to submit an affidavit to the respective office before seeking permission to cancel the international chartered flights.In the event of technical glitch or some other complications, the permission for the postponement of the domestic flights could be sought.called upon the airlines operators to realize their responsibilities to provide the travel facilities to passengers.
