RAWALPINDI – In an unfortunate event, Indian troops again violated the ceasefire agreement on Saturday and resorted to the unprovoked firing across the Line of Control .
On Jan 26, Indian troops violated the ceasfire agreement and critically injured a 21-year-old woman, resident of Serian village, who was evacuated to nearby hospital for medical assistance.Indian diplomat summoned to register Pakistan’s strong protest According to FO, due to indiscriminate and unprovoked firing by the Indian forces in Chirikot Sector of LoC on 25 January 2020, 21 year old Laiba, w/o Naqeeb, resident of village Serian, sustained serious injuries.
It was also emphasized that by raising tensions along the LoC and the Working Boundary , India cannot divert attention from the worsening human rights situation in the Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir .
