In response, Rafia Tariq, wife of former Punjab governor Khawaja Tariq Raheem said if the election is not held then martial law will be imposed.
In the purported leak audio, Mah Jabeen replied that the army is not ready to impose martial law in the present circumstances even. But Rafia insisted that the military is ready for packing up the democratic system. “You can't stay here, that's it,” she uttered. She added “May Allah weaken them and give them courage . The authenticity of the leaked phone call could not be independently confirmed.
