Special conferences, events and Mahaafil-e-Milaad are being arranged to pay respect to the last messenger whose life and teachings are beacon of light for the whole mankind.
2800kg milk, 400kg of Khoa, 200kg dry fruits, 600kg sugar and rice were used in the preparation of kheer. The purpose of the 100 maund kheer is to celebrate the birthday of Hazrat and distribute sweet dish on this event. In relevance to the occasion, buildings and mosques have been illuminated with decorative lights and arrangements for the day have been finalised by all Milad committees in the city.
