Brig. Gen. Jesus Cambay Jr., director of the Zamboanga Peninsula Police Regional Office, identified the suspect as Mayong Ilang Kamlaon, of Barangay Talon-Talon here.Cambay said Kamlaon resisted arrest and shot at the teams who were serving a warrant for his arrest in his place in Barangay Bulua at around 11 p.m.
A hand grenade, a .45-caliber pistol with a magazine, and a sling bag with a magazine and live ammunition were recovered from Kamlaon.
