In case you’re wondering, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority’s number coding scheme remains suspended “until further notice”.
The MMDA made this clarification on its verified Facebook page Wednesday night, June 16, as the National Capital Region or Metro Manila eased its lockdown status to a general community quarantine “with some restrictions”. “Pinapayagan ang pagbiyahe para sa essential goods at pagpasok sa mga establishments o aktibidad na pinayagang ng IATF [Inter-Agency Task Force] magbukas o mag-operate ,” the agency’sAuthorities use the number coding scheme to lessen vehicle volume on roads, especially since traffic was a perennial problem in the metropolis before the emergence of the coronavirus disease scourge.
“Habang ipinapairal ang GCQ, sundin ang mga public health protocols upang mapangalagaan ang sarili, pamilya at ang iyong komunidad laban sa COVID-19 ,” the advisory further read.
Wag na ibalik ang number coding MMDA don't add more worries to workers by forcing them to take public transport na siksikan muli.
