Yasuhi Masuda takes helm as Nissan Philippines president

Under Hoyos' leadership, Nissan Philippines experienced significant growth and expansion. The company launched several new products, including the all-new Kicks e-POWER, all-new Livina, new GT-R, all-new Nissan Z, and the new Almera with Nissan Connect Services. These launches broadened Nissan 's footprint in the country, culminating in a remarkable 37-percent growth by the end of fiscal year 2023, more than double the industry's average growth rate.

Masuda, who joined Nissan in 2011, has held various leadership roles in market intelligence, brand and media strategy. Most recently, he served as chief marketing officer for Japan product marketing and brand and media strategy. Before joining Nissan, Masuda worked in the fast-moving consumer goods industry, where he gained valuable experience in data analytics and consumer insights.
