Agents of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) rescued a woman who was allegedly beaten and illegally detained by her female partner in Quezon City . However, the suspect caught her and dragged her back to the house where she was being held captive.

Authorities Rescue 14 Would-Be Human Trafficking VictimsAuthorities have rescued 14 would-be victims of human trafficking on two occasions in this city and in the province of Tawi-Tawi, the Philippine Navy reported.
