Wilbert Tolentino wants Sanya Lopez to join beauty pageant, Kapuso actress reacts

"Baka possible po," answered Wilbert, when asked if he would still help Sanya join a beauty pageant, at the opening of his restaurant Tokyo Grill Unlimited Japanese Restaurant at No. 62 Tomas Morato in Quezon City on Friday, March 10. Wilbert said he and Sanya are the best of friends.

In June 2021, Sanya said that she's willing to be trained by Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach if she decides to join a beauty pageant.“Whenever you’re ready, we’re here waiting for you,” Pia said.But with the projects lined-up for her by GMA Network, she does not know when she will be able to participate.

"Ang daming binibigay na projects ng GMA at sobrang happy naman ako sa mga binibigay nila kaya ang hirap din talagang iwan ito," she said. "If ever na nararamdaman naman natin na papunta tayo roon, bakit hindi? Pero right now, ang hirap po talagang iwan ang trabaho ko sa GMA kasi napamahal na po ako roon eh," Sanya added.Sanya also said that she's really impressed with those who really prepare hard for the pageant.

"Grabe ang paghihirap nila at hindi talaga ganun kadali. Kaya kinakabahan din talaga ako," she added.Sanya, 26, that she's not updated in the pageant scene right now but she heard that fellow Kapuso star Michelle Dee is competing again in Miss Universe Philippines. "Of course, I will support her."
