Wife of Echanis says autopsy confirms his death wasn’t a simple crime

“Malayo sa ‘simpleng krimen’ o robbery na ipinipilit ng mga pulis ang nangyari sa aking asawa ,’’ Erlinda Echanis said.

Fortun said that the deep puncture at his back which pierced through his aorta killed him “at once,’’ adding that he also had multiple superficial wounds also at the back. When asked if he Randall was tortured, she simply said that the ‘’implications are likely to be there.’’ However, Fortun explained that a victim’s body ‘’can only tell you so much’’ stressing the importance of carefully processing and preserving the pieces of physical evidence.
