front-liner loved ones falling ill, and the pervading sense of uncertainty as the world grapples with the Covid-19 pandemic.
“It’s hard not to turn emotional during these difficult times. There are people dying around the world because of the pandemic,” the GMA 7 actor told the Inquirer in a recent interview. “It was a release of emotions.”“There’s uncertainty and our future is hanging in the balance. That prayer really touched me deeply; I felt other people’s pains,” added Ken, who urged everyone to offer a little prayer for those who are suffering amid the ongoing health crisis.
While he’s concerned about the well-being of our front-liners, Ken’s also awed by all the work they put in and sacrifices they make. “I have a deep appreciation for the front-liners…Those front-liners are truly going above and beyond [the call of duty] to help all of us,” Ken pointed out.
