MANILA — Despite not bringing home the fifth Miss Universe crown for the Philippines, Rabiya Mateo believes her stint in the pageant is “a beautiful start for something new.”
“Actually, it’s just one girl who’s going to be crowned, but I know in my heart, every one of us, we are alright even without that crown,” Mateo said. “It’s not every day that we get to represent our countries, so this is really a great opportunity for all the girls.
