Several areas in Calabarzon and Metro Manila have announced class suspensions for Friday, Sept. 22 due to the sulfur dioxide and thick volcanic smog (vog) from Taal, which is currently under Alert Level 1.

According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology , vog is particularly harmful to individuals with asthma, lung disease, heart disease, the elderly, pregnant women, and children.All levels in public and private: Magallanes, Kawit, Ternate, Silang, Alfonso, Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo , Gen. Trias, Mendez, Naic, Imus, Cavite City, Noveleta, Trece Martires, Maragondon, Tagaytay City, Dasmariñas City, Tanza, Rosario, Indang, Bacoor City, Gen. Mariano Alvarez, Carmona, Amadeo.

All levels in public and private: Balayan, Calatagan, Lian, Nasugbu, Tanauan City, San Nicolas, Balete, Tuy, Calaca, TaalAll levels in public and private: Las Piñas, Muntinlupa, Parañaque, Pasay, San Juan
