The millennial mayor is the son of actor-comedian Vic Sotto and actress Coney Reyes. He is also the nephew of Senate President Vicente Sotto III. Sotto defeated former Mayor Robert “Bobby” Eusebio during the midterm polls, ending the 27-year political rule of the Eusebio clan in the city.
