Veteran broadcaster and former anchor of GMA Balita, Mike Lacanilao , passed away at the age of 88. The sad news was confirmed by Mike's wife, Anna Francisca Castañeda-Lacanilao. Mike was a co-anchor of GMA Balita, one of the news and public affairs shows of the Kapuso network in the 1990s. He also served as the president of Febias College of Bible from 1976 to 1982. A joint memorial service will be held for Mike at Greenhills Christian Fellowship in Ortigas on Tuesday, Feb. 13.
His wake will be open to the public on Thursday in Sucat, Parañaque before he is laid to rest
