Valenzuela City allows backriding on tricycles

Through the passing of Ordinance No. 810 Series of 2020, backriding is no longer prohibited provided that there is a plastic barrier between the driver and the passenger and that they are both wearing face masks and face shields.

A passenger will be charged P12 for the first kilometer of the ride and an additional P2 for every succeeding kilometer. For special trips, P24 will be charged for the first kilometer and additional P4 for every succeeding kilometer.
