Typhoon"Ursula" is bringing"very destructive" winds and intense rainfall in at least three areas in Visayas on Christmas Day.
Meanwhile, Signal No. 1 remains raised – indicating light or no-risk damage to low-risk structures over the following areas:Bataan, Metro Manila, Rizal, Cavite, the rest of Quezon, Laguna, Batangas, Camarines Sur, Camarines Norte, Albay, Sorsogon, the rest northern mainland Palawan ; Tacloban City ; and Cabugcayan, Biliran on Tuesday. At 2:30 a.m., it made landfall over Gigantes Island in Iloilo and Ibajay, Aklan at 8:40am.
Destructive typhoon-force winds will start affecting Aklan, northern Antique and Romblon in the morning and southern Mindoro provinces between this morning and afternoon, PAGASA said.
