Students from the University of the Philippines are expected to stage a walkout to protest police and military presence in schools

MANILA - Students from the University of the Philippines are expected to stage a walkout next Tuesday, Aug. 20, to oppose police and military presence in schools.

The declaration came following a Senate hearing, where proposals to revive the Anti-Subversion Law and other methods to curtail recruitment of the NPA in schools were raised. Punzalan emphasized there is nothing new with the police and miltary’s assertion that state universities have become recruitment grounds of the communist group.

The hell we care!

NO to dictatorship.

Dun kayo mag-aral pra ma-experience nyo saka kayo magcomment.

Tang ina nyo..mag sipag aral nga kayo dagdag salot pa kayo mga tanga at uto uto!!!🤬🤬🤬

NPA lang ang may karapatan sa campuses? Tang na talaga!

Bakit ganun, pag komunista ok lng pero pag AFP and PNP bawal? Halata n masyado.

The police and military must be smart to know that the more they try to militarize the schools the more the students will rebel.

Better, and all that protested should not come back until the police & military are still there, better that way.
