According to city police chief Col. Jaime Santos, they are looking at the possibility that the suspect in the killing of the boy, the victim's own uncle and a minor himself at 15 years old, could have committed the crime due to his avid watching of the series on Jeffery Dahmer, the American serial killer and sex offender.Santos said the father of the suspect admitted that his son is an avid follower of Dahmer.
Santos said the discovery of the body of the victim came after the cousin of the victim, Hermie Modero, said that he read a cryptic post of the suspect on his social media account while the child was reported missing. The city police chief added that screen shots were also sent to the family of the child stuffed inside the washing machine including the post made by the suspect on his social media account.
