ORMOC CITY — An unattended burning charcoal caused a fire that destroyed a house in Barangay Dakit, San Francisco town, Southern Leyte on Sunday afternoon, June 4.Initial investigation conducted by SFO1 Jonathan Baring of Bureau of Fire Protection in San Francisco disclosed that the fire started at the house of Valentina Baslot.

Investigators said an unattended charcoal that fell down a stock of firewood beneath the dirty kitchen resulted in the fire.
