UAAP: FEU crushes UP for 3rd straight win in women's hoops

MANILA, Philippines -- Far Eastern University rolled past University of the Philippines , 76-46, to register its third straight win in the UAAP Season 82 women's basketball tournament, Sunday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

"Gusto naming mamuhunan at nabigyan kami ng medyo magaan na kalaban. Confidence boost namin ito to start the second round," said coach Bert Flores. The Lady Tamaraws broke the game open with a 22-point second quarter, and their lead grew as large as 33 points numerous times in the fourth frame."Mas lalong lumalim 'yung team nila eh. Naka-adjust na rin itong NU. Kami naman, after Clare puro maliliit na ang players namin kaya sana pumasok 'yung mga three-points namin," said Flores of that colossal finals rematch at the Big Dome.
