MANILA, Philippines -- After sitting out the UAAP Season 82 women's volleyball tournament due to injury, Ateneo de Manila University setter Deanna Wong has yet to truly think about returning to the Lady Eagles for her final year of eligibility.
"I didn't want to rush my injury, kasi nga baka 'pag balik ko ng laro, baka lumalala," she said. "So I said na, sige, huwag muna, pahinga muna ako. Kasi I didn't wanna risk it talaga." Wong has since confirmed that she will play for Choco Mucho in the Premier Volleyball League , although it remains to be seen when the league's fourth season will start as the health crisis has hampered their plans.
