Naidugtong na ang main bridge deck ng ikatlong tulay ng Cebu na magkokonekta sa bayan ng Cordova at Cebu City, na kung tawagin ay Sto. Niño bridge nitong Biyernes.

Itinakdang matapos ang kabuuang construction ng tulay sa Marso 2022 at magiging operational ito sa Hulyo 2022. Naipatayo ang Sto. Niño bridge dahil sa proposal ng yumaong si Presidential Legislative Liason Office Secretary Atty. Adelino Sitoy. Hango ang pangalan nito sa pagdiriwang ng 500 years of Christianity sa Cebu.
