Two days after a tanker truck allegedly ran over a motorcyclist at the EDSA-Shaw underpass, authorities were able trace and arrest the tanker tuck's driver.
“Tumuloy po siya sir at naibaba niya ‘yung ilang toneladang gasolina yun sa Lipa, Batangas,” said Police Colonel Cesar Gerante of the Mandaluyong City Police. However, the PNP-Mandaluyong clarified that based on their investigation, a sport utility vehicle that was initially said to have been responsible for the hit and run had nothing to do with it.
