THE Muntinlupa City government has allowed tricycles to operate during the implementation of the modified enhanced community quarantine from August 4 to 18.Under the order, Tricycle Operators and Drivers Associations would implement an odd-even scheme where all members with Tricycle Regulatory Unit numbers ending in an odd digit will be allowed to operate on Monday, Wednesday and Friday while those with TRU numbers ending in even digit are allowed on Tuesday, Thursday, And Saturday.
Tricycle drivers must install transparent plastic sheet separating the passenger cab and driver to avoid physical contact. Tricycles must disinfected at least twice a day and must have alcohol-based sanitizers.Passengers allowed to board tricycles include essential workers, frontliners, workers of allowed industries, and heads of households buying essential goods.
