Light to heavy traffic was reported in several areas of North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) and South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) on Maundy Thursday afternoon.

In tweets, SLEX said heavy traffic was recorded in the Carmona area and Majada Bridge as of 11:32 a.m.

It also said light traffic was monitored in Alabang - Sto. Tomas northbound and southbound as of 1:05 p.m. Meanwhile, the NLEX Corporation reported approximately five to 10 kilometers per hour running speed due to increased volume of vehicles in Cloverleaf to NLEX Harbor Link Interchange Northbound. In Valenzuela Interchange to Petron Marilao Northbound, approximately 10 to 30 kph running speed were recorded due to increased volume of vehicles.

Motorists experienced approximately 20 to 40 kph running speed due to increased volume of vehicles in Petron Marilao to Bocaue Northbound, Bocaue to Sta. Rita Northbound, Pulilan to Mexico Lakeshore Northbound, and Mexico Lakeshore to Balem Northbound.—Richa Noriega/AOL, GMA Integrated News
