Via Juille Roderos-Galban, a general physician, said feeling nauseous from sun exposure is something that you should be wary of.“Kailangan natin ng extra ingat especially when it comes to the summer season kasi being exposed sa maiinit na lugar can actually cause an increase to our blood pressure,” Dr. Galban said.
Galban debunked the myth that you should not shower right after excessive sweating from sun exposure.“Minsan kasi kapag natuyuan tayo ng pawis, malagkit ‘yung pakiramdam and it can actually worsen ‘yung pakiramdam natin, so okay lang kung maligo tayo after magpawis,” she said.It’s also advisable to wear white or light outfits when you’re out and about, as well as to choose loose and summer-friendly materials for clothing.
