What supposed to be a September face-off between pro and against Anti-Terrorism Act has been moved to a still unknown date.

Why? The number of petitions challenging the law's constitutionality has reached 37, making it one of the most questioned laws in history.

Peralta said they already suggested to the member-in-charge to group common issues together and list down those that are not. Only then can the Supreme Court call for a preliminary conference with the petitioners and respondents to discuss what issues will be tackled in the oral arguments. Solicitor General Jose Calida wanted to cancel the oral arguments because of logistical restrictions and health threats posed by COVID-19 pandemic,"as well as provisions of internal rules of SC and pertinent jurisprudence."
