The survey results did not significantly differ from one another. It was in the interpretation and tweaking of the results by interested candidates and parties where opinion varied widely.

First wordTHREE poll survey firms — Pulse Asia, Laylo Research and Publicus Asia — released this April their findings in pre-election surveys conducted in March. For the long-starved campaign of Vice President Leni Robredo, there is now a rising of the tide, a dramatic shift and momentum for the VP. And it is matched by a faint decline of support for Ferdinand Marcos Jr.For most polling professionals and political analysts, however, the slight change in poll data is statistically insignificant.

'Marcos, Robredo and Domagoso notched statistically insignificant vote share increases of 1 percent, 2 percent and 1 percent, respectively, as compared to their numbers on the March 9-14, 2022 Publicus survey,' the polling firm said.Only 5 percent of voters said they were still undecided about their presidential vote, according to the survey. In the same survey, Marcos' running mate, Duterte-Carpio, also maintained her lead with a vote share of 58 percent among PQ1 respondents.
