Philippine National Police Officer-in-Charge PLTGen. Archie Gamboa on Monday said he has signed the dismissal order for PMSg Donald Roque, PMSg Rommel Vital, and PCpl Romeo Encarnacion Guerrero Jr. on the recommendation of the Internal Affairs Service after the three planted evidence during the raid on May 4, 2019.
Gamboa also called for a more thorough review of the case against another official, PLt Joven de Guzman, who was ordered suspended for 59 days. Gamboa said that during the IAS investigation, de Guzman was found to be"far more" involved in the controversial operation."Ang remand ko he will be charged again, but this time for a graver offense. Sa nakita ko sa record, there is enough and substantial evidence. I think he will also be dismissed from service," he said.
These four policemen are among the 13 officers involved in the flawed Mexico, Pampanga anti-narcotics operation in 2013.
