ALEXANDER Gesmundo is the 27th Chief Justice of the Supreme Court . He first became an Associate Justice on Aug. 14, 2017 and later assumed the position of Chief Justice on April 5, 2021. He leads the Court 's reform agenda, particularly, through the Strategic Plan for Judicial Innovations 2022-2027 or the SPJI.He also chairs various key committees in the Supreme Court .
Marvic Mario Victor Leonen joined the Supreme Court as its 172nd Associate Justice on Nov. 21, 2012. He heads the Supreme Court committees for human rights, international law, computerization and technology, bar discipline, access to justice, sustainability and environmental concerns and Shari'ah.
