Tarlac’s active COVID-19 cases rose to a record-high 1,900 since the pandemic broke out last year, after the provincial government recorded 110 new cases on Saturday.

The province only had 457 active cases a month ago which meant a 316 percent increase.

The new COVID-19 cases include a 9-month-old girl from Sta. Ignacia town, a 2-year-old boy from Tarlac City, and a 2-year-old girl from Capas town. All three infants manifested mild symptoms and are currently under quarantine.
