Bureau of Immigration Commissioner Norman Tansingco asked officers manning international airports nationwide to remain vigilant and in full force despite various controversial issues faced by the bureau in the past weeks.

The BI chief made the appeal when he conducted ocular inspection of the immigration area of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Holy Wednesday, April 5. Tansingco talked to the officers on duty, reminding them of their role as public servants and continue with their duties amid unfavorable issues appearing in social media platforms.
