Police Lieutenant Colonel Marlu Conag, Provincial Intelligence Branch chief of the Cebu Provincial Police Office , said this after 46-year-old resident of Barangay Tangke, Talisay City was caught with 1.28 kilos of suspected shabu during a buy-bust operation in Sitio Lower Torre, Barangay Inayawan, Cebu City at dawn of February 22, 2020.Conag said James Peter Reyes Pastoriza was arrested after the more than a kilo of suspected shabu, which had an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of P8.
Conag also described Pastoriza as an high value individual, who could allegedly dispose of 500 grams to a kilo of illegal drugs in a week. Conag said that Ricky Medil Pelida was caught with a gram of suspected shabu and was arrested together with Pastoriza.Pastoriza’s alleged cohort, a certain Jeric Canton, managed to escape during the police operation.
