MANILA - A tourist in Taiwan posted viral photos showing a bus with a sign "Huwag Maingay" in what seemed to be directed at Filipino visitors.
Tourist Ariel Gonzales Abalos said bus drivers in Taiwan scold Filipinos who are noisy because they were enjoying their surroundings. "Lalapitan ka or mag-microphone para sabihin manahimik ka. Pati Taiwan citizen nanaway din po talaga. Pero sadyang maingay po talaga ang Pinoy or masayahin lng po talaga siguro tayo," Abalos told ABS-CBN News.

I think we are missing the point, as filipino, that we should respect other people especially in a public place.
Wag tayong pikon. Totoo namang maingay tayo e. Personal ko ding karanasan yun. Pag nagsama-sama mga Pinoy, masaya kaya maingay. Respeto na lang pag nasa public transport kahit saan.

We were there with my family when it wasn’t visa- free yet but if you have a US visa you’ll only have to get a permit, we had our city tour by taking taxis n we enjoyed it a lot 😘
Lesson: In other culture, silence is golden. Respect it as a visitor.

Ive been to Taiwan, and all signages they have also in Filipino, meaning many Filipinos are there just like in Dubai. It's a good thing that they are recognizing our language.
