The Taguig City government brought its health caravan project to Barangay West Rembo, an enlisted men’s barrio or “embo” barangay that is now under its jurisdiction.

Taguig claimed that the “Love Caravan” project, which provides medical, dental and social services, was brought to West Rembo after Makati allegedly failed to vacate the health center in the area.

The health caravan also provided free dental care and nutrition services, where residents were taught how to create healthy meals. Six hitchhikers were badly hurt after a cargo truck carrying them, loaded with 700 bags of rice, toppled in a stretch of a...
