Mayor Alfred Romualdez claimed that cases of COVID-19 in Tacloban have been controlled. | joeygabietaINQ

Romualdez said COVID-19 cases in Tacloban have been declining, with the daily figures now down to less than 10.“We see that the numbers are going down based on the report of our contact tracers. That’s a very good sign considering that we are a highly urbanized city with a dense population,” he said.

Romualdez, however, urged the people not to be complacent and still observe the mandatory health protocols, like wearing a face mask and face shield and physical distancing.
