TACLOBAN CITY—The vaccination program in this city will be brought to the barangays starting Wednesday, July 28, to inoculate bedridden seniors against COVID-19.

Mayor Alfred Romualdez said this would also help hasten the city’s inoculation campaign to achieve herd immunity.On Wednesday, a team from the City Health Office went to the San Jose district, where 17 seniors received the Johnson & Johnson vaccines. “We want Taclobanons to get the vaccine as it will save lives and for us to achieve herd immunity,” Romualdez said.
