More than half of Filipinos have said that they have easy access to a COVID-19 vaccination site in their area, based on a Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey results released on Tuesday, Aug. 17.

More than half of Filipinos have said that they have easy access to a coronavirus disease vaccination site in their area, based on a Social Weather Stations survey results released on Tuesday, Aug. 17.

Fifty-one percent said the pace of vaccination in their own barangay is “slow” , and 41 percent said the pace is “alright.” When asked about the Philippines as a whole, 50 percent said the pace of vaccination is slow , and 45 percent said the pace is alright. The percentage of those who consider the vaccination pace in their own barangay to be slow is highest in the Visayas , followed by Balance Luzon , Mindanao , and Metro Manila .
