SEN. Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go has been reported to be one of the seven passenger of a Super King Air 350, with registry number RP-C 6198 bound for Catarman, Samar, that skidded off the runway while about to take off at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Tuesday morning.
According to the Media Affairs Division of the Manila International Airport Authority , no other flights were affected as airport operations resumed after clearing operations. “My team and I were supposed to be on our way to distribute assistance to our fellow Filipinos affected by heavy rains and floods in Mapanas, Catarman and Lavezares, all in Northern Samar. I was also scheduled to inspect the Super Health Center and a newly constructed covered court in Lavezares, as well as the renovated public market in Catarman,” Go said.
