Stray dogs became unlikely heroes after saving a newborn baby girl who was dumped in a drain in Haryana, India, last Thursday, July 18.as per Indo-Asian News Service viaPolice caught wind of the incident after receiving tips from passers-by who noticed the dogs barking near the drain.
Authorities were able to retrieve surveillance footage of how the baby ended up in the drain. The video showed an unidentified woman throwing the newborn into it. It also showed the dogs pulling the baby out after the woman had left.
