Some celebrities share their thoughts about the first thing they would do when this pandemic ends.

As Easter beckons, we all wish that the world would live up to its meaning by having a fresh start and a new beginning. But that can only happen if the pandemic will be over. Just like an Easter egg

JASMINE CURTIS-SMITH:The first thing I’ll do is probably head back to work! Our show is still on hold on its fifth week, and we have a lot more to go for airing. Plus, if I get back to work sooner, I also get to help and give back sooner.CHRISTINE BABAO:

Early border closures and testing of citizens help Palau remain COVID-19 free Monkeys snatch blood samples of suspected COVID-19 patients in India The Minneapolis police officer who knelt on George Floyd's neck had 18 previous complaints against him, police department says

I’ll have long, slow, uninterrupted dinners with close friends, where we can just talk about our experiences during the COVID-19 situation. With my business partners, I’ll go back and check on my Styled Pop Up store at Shangri-La Mall. I’ll go to a salon to have a mani-pedi.

SUZI ABRERA:When the pandemic is over, and after seeing my relatives and friends, I’m planning a beach trip with my family. There, we can commune with nature, breathe it all in, and maybe invite the rest of our families and friends over and just be grateful to be together again.

We’ll be sharing the same space under the glorious sky. We’ll say a prayer of deep thanks together with our hands held together, without fear or anxiety. Beach would be the first order of business.CHRISTIAN BABLES:The first thing I’ll do is to go to work and to eat Jolly Hotdog (laughs)! How I miss acting and eating that fave food of mine.

DINGDONG AVANZADO:When the lockdown is lifted and we’re slowly allowed to leave our houses, the first thing I would probably do is get a haircut, that is if the salon is open. Also, have a get-together with my family and friends while still practicing social distancing.

I think it will be like this for a while until a vaccine is created, which is probably a year away from now. This pandemic will really change the way we live our lives from now on. Read more: Inquirer »
