St. Luke's Medical Center announced on Monday that the coronavirus disease 2019 wards in its branches in Quezon City and Taguig City are full.In a statement posted on its social media page, the hospital said that there are some patients in their emergency rooms waiting to be admitted.

The hospital urged patients with Covid-19 symptoms who need urgent treatment to go to other hospitals.The hospital appealed to the public to continue following health protocols to prevent the spread of the virus in the community.The Department of Health earlier said that the country is now under high-risk as Covid-19 cases continue to rise, driven by the highly infectious Delta variant of the virus.
