Alluding to being called “Lugaw Queen” by her detractors, Vice President Leni Robredo on Wednesday, April 14, posted a photo of her lunch — spicy lugaw with tokwa’t baboy .
“Spicy lugaw with tokwa’t baboy for lunch while volunteering as a chat agent for our Bayanihan e-Konsulta patients. We’re trying to catch up with our backlogs dahil andaming pasyente ,” she said on her Facebook page. Last week, the Bayanihan E-Konsult had received 10,830 requests for medical consultations with the Office of the Vice President’s volunteer doctors. But even after taking a break on Monday to deal with the backlogs, Robredo admitted that it was taking their team a long time to address everyone’s concerns.
Last year, Robredo handed out bowls of porridge to evacuees in Batangas following the eruption of Taal volcano. She also gave out pieces of pandesal, an allusion to Overseas Workers Welfare Administration Deputy Administrator Margaux “Mocha” Uson.
Ngayon, pag sinabing lugaw tatatak kaagad sa isipan ng mga tao kung sino ang tinutukoy. Kasama na sa history ng pilipinas. At maaring maisulat pa sa mga aklat.
