The congresswoman led the distribution of cash assistance to the residents held at the Greenville Court, Greenville Drive with the help of assigned leader Ashliah Baute from the Department of Social Welfare and Development.Romualdez highlighted the Alagang Tingog centers in different areas of Quezon City.
“We have seven Alagang Tingog centers here in barangays Batasan Hills, Holy Spirit, Kamuning, Payatas, Bagong Silangan, Sta. Monica and Pasong Tamo,” she said. Tingog’s overwhelming presence in Quezon City is a testament to its commitment to serving citizens, she, adding “we are always beside you. We will never leave you behind.”
The Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations program under the DSWD aims to improve the living conditions of needy families, allowing them to meet their basic needs and improve their overall well-being.Also present in the event were Tingog party-list’s partners in public service, Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte and Rep. Marivic Co-Pilar.
