Senator Panfilo Lacson on Monday said congressmen cannot withdraw their

Sen. Panfilo Lacson

Before Congress adjourned last week, the congressmen approved on final reading their House Bill 6875, which adopted provisions from the Senate Bill No. 1083 passed by senators last February. President Duterte certified the House bill as an urgent measure to beat the June 5 sine die adjournment of the legislative department.

In a tweet later, Lacson took a swipe at House members who voted in favor of the Anti-Terror Bill but later retracted their decision for fear that its “broad and vague” definition of the terrorism and terrorist acts will trigger human rights abuses. “Tingnan ninyong mabuti kasi ‘yong mga umatras at bakit sila umatras, inatrasan nila yung authorship nila . Bakit ? Hindi yung bill nila ang pumasa, eh . Hindi ako nagtataka doon, hindi nakakapagtaka ‘yon ,” Sotto said in a separate interview with radio DZBB.

'Cebu 8' charged for unlawful assembly, disobedience over anti-terror bill protestWhile Sinas and Pimentel still walking freely !! Unlawful assembly 'with intent to commit terrorism' in the proposed bill means they stay locked for 14+10 days without court review. If the intent is inserted, nobody can question the 24 days. They should stop using “legal terms” on us if they can’t even whip Sinas na picture perfect yung “unlawful assembly disobedience”. Never forget Sinas-Mañanita.
