Steve Harwell, lead singer for American rock band Smash Mouth, died Monday, Sept. 4.

The “All Star” singer passed away from complications of liver failure after it was just announced last weekend that Harwell, aged 56, was at the final days of his life.

Steve Harwell fronted the band Smash Mouth whose single “All Star” was one of the biggest songs of 1999 and 2000.
